Drama
Comedy
Western
Fantasy

Romance

Here are the characters:

Pepe - Heir to the famous picante sauce fortune
Sylvia - a retired Air Force secretary
Slim - a garage mechanic
Piddles - a mousy, nerd-type with a passion for Big Red
Mr. Sensational - an out-of-work nightclub singer
Chad - a PC virus consultant
Errington - a private eye with a strange accent
Ariana - a whimsical artist
Wellesley - one of the last diplomats from the failed coup-de-tait of a 1930's South American country
Carne Guisada - a cook who speaks only Spanish
Miss Witherspoon - the headmistress from an all-girls school
Claire - the girl that got away
Bobby - former stock car driver, now selling products by network marketing
Carol - a butcher from New York

Here are the lines of dialogue:

"Yup. Didn't I tell you this would happen?"
"Is it four or five?"
"Can we do this later?"
"Certainly I care, but you see the company rules are quite clear on this."
"If it were up to me, I'd put him out of his misery."
"That's more beef than I've seen in quite some time."
"I shave my legs with that you know."
"Terrible. Just unbelievable.
"That's all you've got?"
"Please tell me you're not going to eat that."
"She's actually going to do it."
"Perhaps it would be better if we left you two alone."
"Holy cow. This is just creepy!"
"And for the record, I'm a woman."
"And for the record, I'm a man."

Test footage for SA48HR Film Experience

The film commission team, "Walk The Walk", will be making a 48 hour film this year (but will not be considered for competition) and we did some test footage this week to see how using only available light could give us a cinematic look. Judy McMillan and Maxine Greco helped us out, and we love the results! See you the night of the 4th for the Kick-off event!

The 10 Things I Wish I Had Known

...before making my first 48 Hour film.

In anticipation of the SA48HR Film Experience the weekend of December 4th, the San Antonio Film Commission's next film forum will cover "The 10 Things I Wished I Would Have Known" before making a 48 Hour film.

The forum is free and held the fourth Tuesday of every month at the Central Library auditorium (600 Soledad, on first floor), from 7 to 8 p.m. Come early and network with other film-friendly folks, starting at 6:30 p.m. Parking is available in the library parking garage for a small fee.
The forum is hosted by the San Antonio Film Commission and moderated by Nikki Young of PrimaDonna Productions, www.primadonnaproductions.com
