How will you do it?

I've been talking to some of the filmmakers that will be participating this weekend, and wondering if you all will share some of your techniques for getting a film made in just 48 hours. Coordinating actors, locations, equipment, etc., is a challenge. Use the comment feature to tell us how you plan on creating a masterpiece!

Ok, so I'm not one of the teams, but here's a web-based script writing solution that makes sense for filmmakers on a budget. It's call CelTX (pronounced kel'-tix) and can be found on their website, http://www.celtx.com. You might also try Plotbot, at http://www.plotbot.com, which uses a wiki format to allow collaboration. Good luck everyone!

Lots of caffeine and nicotine..

Use a flexible script - and try to work some magic in post.

Plan enough scenes/story for a 20 minute movie - and then cut out the bits that don't work.

Use reliable/flexible people - (doesn't matter how good an actor your friend of a friend is - if they don't show up)

Adjust your vision to fit the resources you have at hand - and not the other way around.
